Testimonials

"We decided to transition to
The Teaching Tree when our
son was about to turn one. Our
current facility had some major
administration issues that led
to unskilled teachers and very
high ratios. When we reached
out to Kari and the Teaching
Tree staff they were so warm
and welcoming. Kari is always
available when we have
questions and has been
so accommodating to our special
requests. From day one we
have been so happy with our
decision to start our son at
Teaching Tree. He has learned
so many things (sign language,
colors, animals, sports, and
Spanish). He does so much art
work one keepsake folder
has turned into numerous. We
are given very detailed reports
each day and have an excellent
relationship with not only his
main teacher, but all the teachers
he encounters. We feel
comfortable that he is eating
wholesome food that not only
expands his palate, but helps
him grow. Our son has made so
many friends and participated
in various fun activities. One of
the best changes we have seen
is better sleeping habits. This
has completely changed not
only our son's demeanor, but
our relationship with him has
flourished. We have absolutely
no doubt that Teaching Tree is
the best school and would recommend
them to any parent."

"The Teaching Tree is more than just a daycare to us. It's an exceptional learning environment that has helped our child learn so many new skills. Our son looks forward to going every day and playing with his friends. He had learned skills such as sign language, songs, shapes, animals and even knows his colors, all before turning two years old! He has also learned social skills that have helped him when playing with other children. He has been at the Teaching Tree since he was 12 weeks old and I cannot image going anywhere else. We love everything about the
facility - the organic menu, the daily curriculum, the PB&J and Tadpoles apps, and the all
- inclusive cost. Kari, Peg, and Heather are always available to answer any questions and are so friendly and accommodating. Thank you to the Teaching Tree for providing our son with the foundation for lifelong skills."

"As a new mom I always worried
about who would take care of
my kids when I returned to
work. Interviewing multiple
daycares was extremely stressful. I needed to have the right feeling with them. When my husband and I met with The Teaching Tree it was very comfortable, every question was answered in detail and the
tour was great. Even during the tour I had question after question and still everything was answered in detail and they even discussed things I didn't think of. Moving our kids to The Tree has been great. They love to go to school and they love their
teachers. Every teacher knows
our kids and us. It has become a family that I am happy to say we are a part of. The teachers love our kids as their own. Having the online feed is awesome. I love being able to check on them and just to see them during the day makes my day better. We love being a part of The Teaching Tree and would recommend them 100 times over."

We have been so fortunate to find Teaching Tree! We initially decided to come for a tour after hearing about the wholesome and organic menu offered as well as the early morning hours. As a working parent, nutrition similar to what is provided at home was of utmost concern. The meals are simple but nutri-tious and even my pickiest eater has no trouble filling his belly! From the first time we toured, I knew we found a special place! I was immediately impressed with how happy the children appeared and how engaged the teachers were. I soon learned that many of those teachers had been in their positions for years! As a parent of a special needs child, Teaching Tree has been nothing but accommo-dating and supportive! My son's therapists who visit the class-room often tell me how great the staff are. They frequently report that my son's teachers are enthusiastic and always willing to incorporate our learn-ing goals and strategies into the daily routine. My boys are excit-ed to come to school everyday and not having to worry wheth-er they are happy or safe is wonderful! Kari, Peg and Heather have truly made a home away from home for my boys!

When looking for a daycare for our family we were looking for a place that was secure, friendly, clean, had flexible days/hours, experienced and caring teach-ers, small class sizes for in-creased attention for our child, and most importantly a place where our child would get excit-ed to go to each morning. We were incredibly lucky to find The Teaching Tree; where we found more than we were looking for. The Teaching tree provides pho-tos throughout the day, up-dates, and daily reports that make us feel connected to our child while my husband and I are working throughout the day. The teachers are wonderful as they are kind, flexible, and pro-mote learning throughout the week with daily art projects, weekly themes, Spanish and Sign Language sessions, reading time, interactive gym sessions and so much more. Each week we are provided with artwork that our son has created; we have crafted an art wall at home to showcase his creations, as he is very proud of what he makes. We are also incredibly thankful not to have to bring a checklist of things to daycare each day as The Teaching Tree provides all food for the children’s meals (bonus..it’s all organic and there is a schedule posted for all the meals for the week), diapers, wipes, and bedding (of course you can bring your own if you want to). The Teaching Tree has been a great fit for our family and we consider ourselves lucky to have found it!

Deciding who to partner with to raise and care for your child while you are working is a hard decision to make. We interviewed over 7 schools after deciding to enroll our daughter in a group setting instead of home care. We visited the teaching tree last but we wish it would have been our first visit because it would have saved us a lot of time! The teaching tree was the only school which had the perfect balance of socialization, creativity, and intellectual programs along with the longest tenure of staff. I am not sure if people realize how important tenure of staff is and how much it says about an organization and the leadership. In our family we wanted to know we could count on who would be assisting raising our child and that they had a vested interest in her well being, not that it was another job or on Monday would be a different person. We are so very thankful for Shelly, Heather, Kacy, Kari and the team for loving our daughter! She looks forward to going to school and has grown and developed in all the areas we had hoped, we could not be happier! We also felt it was important to have connectivity throughout the day given one of us travels on a weekly basis, with tadpole and pb&j tv, we get to feel connected no matter where we may be located. Kari has done an amazing job with listening to the parents, kids and staff on what is important to them and making changes if needed to ensure we are provided with the best programs and care possible. If you are looking for the best balance of curriculum, care, and nutritional excellence then you have it in the teaching tree!

I cannot express the thanks and gratitude I have for Kari and all of the wonderful teachers at The Teaching Tree. They have been so kind, helpful and caring to our two beautiful children. Not only do we love everything they do for our kids they love it there too. They have so much fun but they also learn so much too. It is awesome to know that our kids are in such great hands and I am so happy everything The Teaching Tree has done over this past year.

As parents, we value an early learning center with a safe facility, a structured curriculum and a tenured staff with low turnover who truly care for our children every day. The organic menu, diverse learning environment and extra curricular activities are added benefits that aren’t found in other local facilities. The Teaching Tree has met and exceeded our expectations for nearly sev-en years and we wouldn’t consider enrolling our children in another facility.

The Teaching Tree has been such a wonderful place to send our son to learn and play. They have exceeded our expectations as a school, which is almost impossible to do! The relationships they have with their children along with the caring teachers, is such a huge bonus. We can not say enough about the staff, they are such wonderful caring people and our son absolutely LOVES school! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to send our son and are so blessed to have found that perfect fit!

The Teaching Tree has been a second family to my children. My kids truly love their teachers and are so excited to go to class each and everyday. My kids are thriving and learning new things daily. At the rate they are going I truly feel like my little ones will be ahead of the curve when it is time to start kindergarten and I owe a lot of that to the Teaching Tree.

The Teaching Tree is absolutely amazing! Changing centers was a huge deal for me and my family and since the second I walked into The Teaching Tree I knew this was the place for us. Our decision to tour started by checking off items on a check list like many do but once we stepped foot in the building you could just tell the difference. Every single teacher, director and even the Owner Kari took the time to make you feel welcome. Now that we have switched my children couldn’t be happier. They absolutely love the hands-on based learning environment and unique interactive activities they get to experience every day. My favorite is the PB&J live video streaming which has provided me complete peace of mind to view my children while I’m at work….It’s like I’m right there with them! At pick up my son is always so excited to get in the car and tell me all the super cool things they did and learned that day (especially when it’s a field trip day)! I couldn’t be happier with my decision to switch our family to The Teaching Tree, the teachers are truly an extension of our family.
