We believe, here at The Teaching Tree, children should have fun! After all, even the experts agree that preschool age children learn most through play. That is why we strive to make learning and education fun for children of all ages. With our theme based curriculums, our well trained staff organize activities to help stimulate children’s minds and bodies. Working on developmental, cognitive, social and emotional skills along with also organizing activities through daily circle time, dramatic play, sensory, fine motor manipulative, S.T.E.M. activities, arts and crafts, and gross motor play.
We have a fun structured day that gets moving and learning all the time. Our children not only take part in our educational programs but also take part in different specials like yoga, tumbling, gardening club, computer, music, Spanish and more. These activities are key elements to our curriculum. We want to go above and beyond to help our children grow and learn reaching new heights. Learning more than just in the classroom.
Experts in education have found that it is imperative that our youth graduate with a thorough knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. But, why wait until Kindergarten to be introduced to this new and important concept? STEM is a new way of learning that is encouraging investigation and asking questions. It’s spending time in nature and counting rocks, watching changes in the trees, listening to the sounds outside. It’s encouraging children to ask questions and searching for the answer. This is something we strive to do in our curriculum. We want to stimulate these growing minds so they will achieve great things in the future.
